Welcome to The Alternative Midwife.

A bit of background on me - the love for Independent Midwifery care started for me when I was fortunate enough to have an IM for my first pregnancy 17 years ago! I knew then I would love to be able to offer women and families one to one personalised and individual care.

I am happiest in my work when building trusting relationships for perinatal care, working as the midwife together with you the family, to really understand the wants, needs and desires of you're pregnancy and early parenthood journey.

I provide the positive and unique experience I believe all new parents and babies deserve for a joyful welcome and start point to this world.

I have been in the birth world since 2010, I am a birth educator, holistic therapist, birth trauma resolution therapist and currently combine my private work alongside a role as a NHS birth centre - midwifery team leader.

The combination of these experiences and skills has led me to the point to offer an independent service for birth trauma care, birth planning and one to one visits for in depth and specialised pregnancy and early parenthood care and support.

Please take a look around my website for more details on the services I offer.  I also welcome a chat in the first instance to see if we connect - what’s app, email, text me and I will get in touch.

Hope to meet you and your family soon.
